Playing sports teaches people more lessons about the life
When it comes to the question that whether playing sports teaches people more lessons about life, I would definitely agree. Various reasons tend to bolster the opinion. By playing sports, people can not only acquire physical and mental comfort, but gain the spirits of teamwork, peseverant attitudes toward success, and strong wills to endure and overcome any difficulties.
For the first thing, from playing team sports, we can learn a lot of things about how to cooperate with others to our best. Team sports, for instance, the football games, can make us understood the significance of the responsibility for the group’s honor. When playing football, the success of the game is shared out equally by all the team members. Whatever position you are in, the front, the back, the keeper, all you have to do is to run ahead and make a beautiful shoot, or guard your gate firmly. Every player in the team is just like each facade of a crystal. And the shine of a crystal will elapse and fade without one of any facades.
Also, nearly all sports practised nowadays are competitive. You play to win, and the game has little meaning unless you do your utmost to win. Except for playing individual sports like jogging, yoga alone, when the sports come to the level of group or large unit, the question of prestige will arise and the honor of the group will disgrace if you lose. Because of this, you have to spur yourself as further as you can to live up to the a higher standard or a measure of what other players are achieving.
Besides, playing sports is beneficial to life for the reason that it teaches you the importance to have a invincible heart when facing up to the difficulties. For example of one of my experiences of climbing mountains. Last year, as one of the members of Field Adventure Club, I took part in the activity to climb one of the mountains in Tibet. During our explorations, we often faced difficulties and dangers of the most perilous nature I have never encountered before. And what is worse, we did not equip in a manner which could make us easily endure and overcome such a mal-condition. Though sometimes I felt helpless and fearful, our teammates encouraged each other and we did not go our of our way to court the prize of attaining the summit, and finally we succeeded. By so far, this experience is still one of my treasures in my life.
To sum up, it is undeniable that playing sports make us acquired a lot in life, and teaches us to be a real person who has pursuits of being outstanding, spirits to keep the prestige of the community and a never-say-die heart.
