Good Evening Kitosdad. Thanks for reviewing my essay in advance.
People listen to music for different reasons and at different times. Why is music important to many people? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.
Almost everyone listens to music for different reasons and at different times. In my opinion, music is one of the most powerful methods of communication, it nourishes our souls, and makes our lives colorful.
In the first place, music is a way to communicate with the people around the globe. Music does not have any language and we just need to feel it. For instance, when I listen to different types of music from different parts of the world, I find some of them amazing and heart-touching. Therefore, I try to find the lyrics of them and their meanings. In this way, I get a chance to know more about other people, their points of view, the way they look at the world, and even the problems presented/situated in those countries.
Secondly, music can change our moods and take us to another world. A world full of happiness, love, and stress-relief. Personally, I get up on the wrong side of the bed if I do not listen to music. For example, I remember the time I was unable to listen to music, because I had to prepare myself for my literature exam. On the day of the exam the amount of time I spent to take a taxi, the lady who seemed to be playing with the buttons of the elevator and causing the elevator to lurch/move up and down, the students fidgeting with their pens, all were irritating me. However, I was deadly sure that if I could have gotten a chance to listen to some music, I would have never been so impatient.
To put all in a nutshell, as humans need food to fill their stomachs, they need music to nourish their souls. Music can also unite people from around the world. In my opinion, those who believe that eating an apple per day keeps them healthy should also believe that listening to some music per day, keeps them away from daily stress and depression.
