    II. pedal / peddle
  5. He was pedaling his bicycle as fast as he could.
  6. He peddled fruits and vegetables by pedaling his bicycle on the street.

    Also note that you have used AmE spelling. The equivalent BrE spelling is ‘pedalling’.
