Overhaul of product landing pages

We’ve recently sent out an email to our 500+ existing customers offering them a 50% discount on all our products. The result of this campaign is quite impressive: Two teachers bought more than 30 new products and a few others bought a couple each. This show two things:

  1. Our products do have a value.
  2. There is a market for our products.

One of the target groups for our products are ESL and EFL teachers. With the pandemic still in its initial phase there is a growing demand in materials English language teachers can use when teaching online. Now, there is a number of ways our customers find our products. So far the most effective one has been through ‘organic search’. This means that potential customers found the landing pages of our shop by googling. What keywords they use to land in our shop we don’t know but we do know that the landing pages work. Now, to improve the efficiency of the landing pages we need to add more information.

For example, since many of our potential customers are English teachers they are very likely to search for ‘ESL worksheets’, ‘ESL handouts’, ‘ESL printables’, ‘ESL lesson plans’, ‘ESL exercises PDF’, etc. Our materials can be used as the basis of a lesson plan.

Here is a draft of a sales copy we can send out to those customers who arrived at the shop through a landing page but then abandoned the shopping cart:
