Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:
Only movies that can teach us something about real life worth watching.

Movies are an integral component of modern society, which have affected/influenced, and will continue to affect/influence people’s emotions, views from one generation to another. Due to their immense influence, some people argue that only movies that can teach us something about real life worth watching. As a matter of fact, the movies which don’t depict or reflect the real life are worthy of watching equally.

The most important reason is that people necessitate a great wealth of fun in our lives, regardless of the guidance or usefulness of movies. Be distinct with study in class, the intention of watching movies is not acquiring life lessons or studying scientific theories. In the other hand, people need delight in their lives, and the movie invariably is the source of enjoyment form the day it was born. We can be livened up by humorous movies, and we can be intoxicated when we are watching a romantic scene. Sometimes, we don’t need something more form movies, the delight and the expression of emotion should be all we want to get.

Even though some movies don’t include or expose/reveal real life, they can positively stimulate people, including exploiting creativity, expressive skill, etc. Nowadays, a growing number of children like to watch science fiction movies. Incited by these movies, some children can imagine their future lives and even paint or describe them on paper. Further more, no one can deny that some modern technology originate form movies. Likewise, people can learn how to communicate with others or express themselves through lines. All of these functions are useful and helpful, even though these movies don’t give us some lessons about real life.

One economic and art reason that should not be neglected is that various movies boost the development of movie industry and art. It is clear that most movies don’t involve the real life. If they don’t worth watching, how many people would have to lose their jobs, how much movie art would become worthless and audiences would have to tolerate monotonous movies. That means our prosperous movie industry and precious art would fade.

Needless to say, all kinds of movies should be encouraged, as long as they are legal. They can bring more fun, stimulate people’s development and spur the development of movie . People necessitate various movies.
