Hi Kristen,

There are resources all over the internet that will help you ready yourself for the SATs. There is a community built around this, filled with discussions, lessons, and prep-tests:

General SAT Prep: sat-prep.learnhub.com
Specific to Critical Reading: sats-read-and-write.learnhub.com

Hi Kristen!

My SAT sites have great video lessons on SAT reading comprehension. Here they are: mysterytutor.com/search/labe … %20reading

The key thing is to remember that you shouldn’t try to infer anything; all answers are stated directly in the passage.

Good luck!

Online Test practice papers are very helpful. Check the sites like www.princetonreview.com for SAT practice sets and tutoring. www.number2.com provides free SAT practice sets. You can also use online test preparation of www.eduxcel.com, its a little bit costly but very effective. Barron’s test sets are a very good resource for SAT practice and also cost effective.

I agree that the Princeton Review site has a lot of helpful hints. Is it too late to find a tutor? Even for a couple intensive sessions? Personally, I used this free guide: [u]SAT 1, SAT Books, 2200+ SAT Preparation Strategy @ MY-SAT.com. It’s comprehensive and really concentrated so you get through it fast. If you have a couple hours, I’d also say get this ebook, which gave me some really awesome strategy tips: [u]SAT 1, SAT Books, 2200+ SAT Preparation Strategy @ MY-SAT.com

Good luck!

Hi Kristen,

One terrific online place to get live SAT prep help. www.valleycollegeprep.com
Currently you can study with a live SAT coach for three 2-hour sessions, for just $99. In fact, you can invite up to five students total to share the course for the same low $99. (Regularly $249 for one student!)

Hope that helps Kristin,

Or if you don’t want to pay out any money and just looking to practice tests for the sat visit practicethesat.com for their number 1 material and software…

A free SAT test prep program exists online at domesatreview.com . And it has everything for math and english review, test prep, and vocab.

Best of luck!
