on vs. for

Hi,

Please could you tell me which option is correct:

  1. Head of the Sector on Interaction with International Organizations and AAU
  2. Head of the Sector for Interaction with International Organizations and AAU

I’d recommend the second though both seem to be all right. However, to me, there is some difference in meaning as I choose either of the prepositions.

That is, No.1 with ‘on’ indicates the scope of the activities of the Sector while No.2 with ‘for’ the purpose of the activities of the Sector.

Thank you, Anglophile.

How about ‘Head of Interaction with International Organizations and AAU’ or ‘Head of the Department of Interaction with International Organizations and AAU’?[YSaerTTEW443543]
