on the farm or in the farm

when I was a student, I usually write ON THE FARM. However, some people told me that IN THE FARM. I dont know which one is correct.

Hi,

If you are talking about location, you could use ‘on the farm’. ‘In the farm’ refers to ‘inside the farm’ in terms of animals, property, equipment and so on.
