Which is the correct preposition : on the next level or at the next level?
It depends on the context as both could be correct.
For instance :
Let’s move to the next level! On /at this level we have …etc
Then both are still possible.

There is a slight difference in usage here. ‘At the next’ level suggests at a different (often higher) stage in a figurative sense as in: Now that you have acquired the basic knowledge of the language, I recommend that you try the exercises at the next level. ‘On the next level’ suggests again at a different stage but in a literal way as in: I can’t see my car on this level. I must have parked it on the next level in the car park.

Hi Alan, thanks a lot for this explanation. So ‘at a different level’ describes a new quality while ‘on a different level’ refers to another physical level as in a car park for example.[YSaerTTEW443543]
