On behalf of my family, I would like to thank all of you

On behalf of my family, I wish to thank all of you for attending my son’s wedding.

In the above message, by using “On behalf of my family, I wish to thank all of you”, does it mean that I am not among those who thank the guests.

Thanks.

Since you are the person delivering the speech it is implied that you are thanking the audience for attending your son’s wedding too.

I have heard many people say ‘On my own behalf’ (Here it can be: On behalf of my family and on my own behalf).

Native users of English may please confirm if it is a standard usage.
