On/At/During Christmas

I understand that:

  1. On Christmas: On Christmas Day.
  2. At Christmas: The period that includes Christmas Day and the days close to it.

How about ‘during Christmas’, though?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

That suggests within the period of Christmas and that could include a few days before and after the actual day of Christmas.

Alan

So is it correct to say that ‘at Christmas’ carries the same meaning as ‘during Christmas’ does?

Thanks Alan.

Yes.
