on another side

I’ve come across linking words ‘on another side’ at the beginning of the sentence. Is it correct to use it? Or ‘on the other side’ is preferable?

It depends on how many sides there are, but I don’t think the phrase is very good either way.
It seems to be an amalgamation of these more natural phrases:
From another point of view…
On the other hand…
Alternatively…

Thank you, Bev!
