Not as good as I want to (be).

Hi

Can I omit “be” in this reply?

Thanks!
Cantik

Definitely.

Maybe “Not as well as I’d like” is better

being able to play an instrument is described as being able to play it well rather than good

Okie dokie.

I think for other talent too, like dancing or singing.

yes, “well” and “good” have similar meanings but usually:
good (adjective)
well(adverb)

“he is a good singer”

BUT

“he sings well”

Can’t agree more

good
i’m glad :stuck_out_tongue:
