new "end" features?

I’m studying with “stevenotes” now, and I found he used that expression. Here’s the quote:

I just guess it might mean “cutting edge” “state-of-the-art” or something like that. What do you think?

Not ‘end features’, but ‘end user features’.

The ‘end user’ is the person who ultimately uses the phone - that is, the customer. So there are new features available for the phone owner’s use.
