I would like to know what is the difference between “networking” and “network”? And I also find it really hard to distinguish between “work” and “working” because they are both nouns.

my friend, i am not a teacher but i will tell you what i think. work and network are nouns, but working and networking are verbs.
1-if i say i am going to work.( work is a noun). i am working in my office ( working is a verb)
2- i am networking 5 computers( verb), or my home network is very secure(noun).

Actually, “networking” can be used as a noun.
Ex: The networking in this datacenter is carefully done.
In my opinion, “network” is defined as a system of connected computers while “networking” is the process of setting up & maintaining that network.
