Are these two words – HELICAM and VIMEO – in use?
A helicam is a a remote-controlled mini helicopter with a camera mounted to it.
Vimeo is a video sharing website.
As far as I am aware their uses are limited to those definitions. The former is quite widespread. The latter would only be used in relation to that particular website.
Thank you. A drone flying over an audience with a fitted camera was once heard referred to as a helicam. Yes, it is a good portmanteau. But I was not aware of what a vimeo meant, and it does not seem to be a portmanteau either.
