"My feet" and "My eyes"

hey,

Are “My feet” and “My eyes” any slang expressions?

Hello Jraou,

Not that I know of. However, in British English, “My eye!” and “My foot!” are old-fashioned expressions of doubt or disbelief or scepticism, e.g.

A: “He said I should use Google to find examples of the phrase. I thought it was a very good idea.”

B: “Good idea, my foot! Google is full of bad English.”

Best wishes,

MrP

.
The same is true in American English. I’ve heard and have also used “my eye” or “my foot” the same way MrP described.
