Mistakes according to "http://www.english-test.net/toeic/simulator3/"

Hello Everyone,

I have found mistakes according to “New TOEIC Test
Look at below: "

english-test.net/toeic/simul … ?gpart=196

Following these questions:
"(197) How many times will the Aqua Fit class meet during Thanksgiving week?
(A) One time
(B) Two times
(C) Three times
(D) Four times

(198) According to the schedule, which of the following is true?
(A) The Kickbox Cardio class is available only on Saturday.
(B) The Bootcamp Conditioning class meets early Friday afternoons.
(C) BodyWorks Plus Abs classes are held four times a week.
(D) The Latin Impact class is held two times each week."
For question (197), it should be “(D) Four times” instead of “(B) Two times”

For question (198), “BodyWorks Plus Abs classes” have been holding five times. The answer “(C)” is untrue. This question is not appropriate with these answers.

Kind regards,
Mickhael

As I’ve tried to explain before Mickhael, there have to be three untrue answers in each four option choice. That doesn’t make them inappropriate.

Hello Beeesneees,

According to you, following the two questions which answer will be. I wait for your feedback.

Hello Beeesneees,

According to this question: "

  1. What will the man probably say next?
    (A) Ranch, please.
    (B) No thank you.
    © That would be fine.
    (D) A blue dress.

The suggested answer is “(A)”, could you explain me that? And in this context, what does “Ranch, please” mean?
In my view, this reply is untrue, it should be “©” instead of “(A)”

Kind regards,
Mickhael

Hello Beeesneees,

For question 43, don’t forget to go following this link, look at below:"

english-test.net/toeic/simul … p?gpart=41

  1. What will the man probably say next?
    (A) Ranch, please.
    (B) No thank you.
    (C) That would be fine.
    (D) A blue dress.

The suggested answer is “(A)”, could you explain me that? And in this context, what does “Ranch, please” mean?
In my view, this reply is untrue, it should be “(C)” instead of “(A)”

Kind regards,
Mickhael

Hi Mickhael,

As I’ve explained, I cannot see the answer key because I have not done the test. Hopefully someone who is able to edit the test will look at the apparently incorrect answers which you found earlier.

However, in question 43 the correct answer is (A) which you indicate is the answer given by the key.

The woman has just asked the man what sort of dressing he would like, and ‘Ranch’ is a type of salad dressing.
instructables.com/id/Homemad … -Dressing/

None of the other answers fit.
Your answer (C) ‘a blue dress’ is an item of clothing. ‘Blue cheese dressing’ is a type of salad dressing.

Hello Beeesneees,

Thank you so much for your explanation, I really appreciated that. Good work!
Kind regards,
Mickhael

Hello Everyone,

I have found a mistake according to “New TOEIC Test
Look at below: "
english-test.net/toeic/simul … ?gpart=196

(197) How many times will the Aqua Fit class meet during Thanksgiving week?
(A) One time
(B) Two times
(C) Three times
(D) Four times

The answer should be “D”, (4 times-totally 6 classes must be held but two of them have been cancelled).

Kind regards,
Mickhael

You are right.

There is also a mistake here:

(198) According to the schedule, which of the following is true?

(A) The Kickbox Cardio class is available only on Saturday. - Untrue, also available on Mon and Tue.
(B) The Bootcamp Conditioning class meets early Friday afternoons. - Untrue, it meets late Friday afternoons/early Friday evenings.
© BodyWorks Plus Abs classes are held four times a week. - Untrue, they are held seven times a week. For this question to be correct, it should read: ‘… are held at least four times a week.’
(D) The Latin Impact class is held two times each week. - Untrue, it is held once a week.

Thank you for your reply and I agree with you.

About
(198) According to the schedule, which of the following is true?
I’m sorry to say they put a question incorrectly. They should have written instead of how many times what days of the week… This is my own conclusion about this test.
