Nowadays, when you open up the newspaper in the morning, when you pass by the top 10 best-sellers book shelf, even when you turn on television at any time, it is easy to find out there are almost all about the personal lives of the famous people such as public figures and celebrities. did the medias pay too much attention to the personal lives of the famous people? From my point of view, almost all the media exactly did. It might be brought enormous profit to the media, simultaneously, it may also bring some negative effects, especially to the famous people and the public.

First, most noted people felt sick about the media pay excess attention on their lives, they were angry with the paparazzi about spying their life twenty-four hours a day. many photographs in the magazines shows that the pop starts or the celebrities’ uncomfortable with the paparazzi or giving them the finger.To live in the horrible situation like this, it might be end up destroying the famous people’s personal life and even put their life in danger. One of the typical example is the tragedy of the Diana, Princess of Wales,died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in the road tunnel in Paris. If only no paparazzi was chasing her car that night , it could not cause the accident.

additionally, a lot of significant or interesting things are happening in our planet. What if more than forty percent reports are about the noted people’s lives? The rest room is not enough to report the serious news in the world.

However, pay proper attention on the famous people’s lives, it is not only beneficial to their career development but also satisfactory the public.

In sum, the mission of the mass media is not merely to cater to the needs of customers, but has a much wider scope, such as to tell the truth, to define what is white and what is black, to promote cultural values, and the list should be endless.
