Meaning of TBA?

It just occurred to me that the abbreviation TBA can have lots of different meanings such as

  • to be added
  • to be announced
  • to be advised
  • to be arranged
  • to be assigned
  • to be approved
  • to be absorbed
  • to be activated

Here are my own suggestions as what TBA could stand for:

  • to be achieved
  • to be assured
  • to be able

What about you? Do you use TBA and if so when?

  • Hi Torsten

You’ve come up with quite a list of possibilities there!
What about adding “to be archived”.

Seriously, though, I normally don’t use TBA.
But if I did, I would only use it for “to be announced”.

    Hi,Torsten
I knew this acronym for to be added( that was my innovation  )and recently this abbreviation I connected with “Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association” but it has no relation to English.
Thanks for additional meanings. It’s very useful for me
