Meaning of "roll over"

Hello,

I just stumbled upon the following sentence:

He just rolled over, didn’t put up a fight.

Does “to roll over” mean “to give up”? I couldn’t find a definition of “roll over” that would fit here.

Yes. Give up without even bothering to try fighting back.
