defines a member as “A person joining in an application for the registeration of a co-operative society, which is subsequently registered, or a person duly admitted to membership of a society after registeration and includes a nominal, associate, or sympathiser member.”
Please explain the above definition.
Or replace the whole paragraph with simple english.
.
Sorry-- I can’t do it in much simpler English. Much seems to depend on the particular society.
Member = (1) a person who co-signed the society’s original registration request; (2) a person who joined the registered society as a ‘regular’ member; (3) any person appointed a member in the given classes (‘nominal’, ‘associate’, or ‘sympathiser’).
.
i. he/she is one of the person(s) in a co-operative society that is to be registered; or
ii. he/she is one of the person(s) in a co-operative society that is duly registered and he/she may be a nominal member, associate member or a sympathiser member.
