Just to check the spelling first INSURE - INSURANCE concerning financial protection as in ‘car insurance’

ENSURE - make sure something will happen as in ‘get a good education to ensure you’ll get a job.’ There is no noun from this word.

Yes, roughly the same but best to use ‘insure’ just for the financial sense.
