Are you Jamaican, cause Jamaican me crazy?
Can someone please tell me what the above line means? It’s the top chatup/pickup line as per a survey.
This is what I could make out, “Are you Jamaican, cause you making me crazy?” Am I right?

Hi Daemon
Yes, I’d say you’ve got the “you making” part exactly right.
By the way, I think “chat up” may still be more British than American. (I don’t hear it here.)
.
Thanks Amy!
I know chat up is British and pick up is American. That’s why I included them both to get my question across to the people on both sides of the pond
By the way, has anyone tried any funny/cheesy/creative pick up lines on you Amy?
In BrEng: “Are you Jamaican, cause you’re making me crazy?”
That was very thoughtful of you, Daemon!
Oh, yes. Some lines are more refined than others. Some can be downright coarse. And you can believe me when I tell you that even old guys do it. (I guess that explains the expression “dirty old man”.)
.
I remember another version:
A: My wife and I have decided to go on vacation to some remote island.
B: Jamaica?
A: No, it was her idea.
