Have you ever tried to copy a DVD movie to your computer (hard drive)? I want to backup my Titanic DVD movie to protect it from DVD disc loss or physical damage, as well as convert DVDs for editing and playback on all devices or players.

Now the problem is how to rip dvd Mac? I know that MacTheRipper is a famous free Mac DVD Converter to backup commercial DVD movies on Mac hard drive. It once worked perfect on my Mac, but when I upgrade to Lion, MTR refused to work. What’s the matter? How can I rip DVD on Lion now?

I don’t rip DVDs myself;) but maybe this works …

Thanks, I’ve tried the Handbrake you mention, and it seems work when converting DVD to VOB files.
