Lyrics to Ms. Kati Svaby

Dear Ms. Kati Svaby,

I enclose a lyrics especially for you. As long as you follow by Fleetwood Mac.
I hope you like it.

“As Long As You Follow”

I’ve been searching
For a plot of gold
Like the kind you find
At the end of the rainbow

I’ve been dreaming
I thought it was in vain
Ah but now you’re here
Can’t believe that you’re back again

Now I know I can’t lose
As long as you follow
I’m gonna win
(I’m gonna win)
I’m gonna beg, steal, or borrow
As long as you follow

I’ve been wandering
Gone away too far
But the road was rough
To get back where you are

And the sun went down
It never seemed to rise
Ah but now you’re here
With the light shining in your eyes

Now I know I can’t lose
As long as you follow
I’m gonna win
(I’m gonna win)
I’m gonna beg, steal or borrow
Yes I can live today
If you give me tomorrow
As long as you follow

Now I know I can’t lose
As long as you follow
I’m gonna win
(I’m gonna win)
I’m gonna beg, steal, or borrow
Yes I can live today
If you give me tomorrow
(As long as you follow)
As long as you follow

(As long as you follow)
As long as you follow
(As long as you follow)
As long as you follow

(As long as you follow)
As long as you follow
As long as you follow
As long as you follow

kind regards.

Kyaw.

P.S>> Please continue to post videos as you wish , the others can enjoy. Thanks.

Hello Kyaw,

It was a chance that I’ve just found this letter. You know I don’t leave any letter without answer. But nobody sent me anything about this lyrics.
Many thanks for this beautiful song and it called me mind. I always loved this song. By today I forgot it. Now I listened it again. Even today I say: it is great!
And I saw there another song what I had loved. Here it is. I don’t say why I loved it because I never loved telling lies and I didn’t like the people who told me lies.
But this song is good.
xxxxxxx

If I could turn the page
In time then I’d rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

But I couldn’t find a way
So I’ll settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can’t disguise
(You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies

Although I’m not making plans
I hope that you understand there’s a reason why
Close your, close your, close your eyes

No more broken hearts
We’re better off apart let’s give it a try
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can’t disguise
(You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies

If I could turn the page
In time then I’d rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes

But I couldn’t find a way
So I’ll settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can’t disguise
(You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise)

Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you can’t disguise
(You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(Tell me, tell me lies)

Dear Ms. Kativ Svaby,

Thank you very much. I love Fleetwood Mac’s song for their lyrics and music. I posted " lyin’ eyes" for you and for those who have lying lovers. LOL

Maybe we can continue posting lyrics in this topic.

“Lyin’ Eyes”

City girls just seem to find out early
How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man
And she won’t have to worry
She’ll dress up all in lace and go in style

Late at night a big old house gets lonely
I guess every form of refuge has its price
And it breaks her heart to think her love is
Only given to a man with hands as cold as ice

So she tells him she must go out for the evening
To comfort an old friend who’s feelin’ down
But he knows where she’s goin’ as she’s leavin’
She is headed for the cheatin’ side of town

You can’t hide your lyin’ eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you’d realize
There ain’t no way to hide your lyin eyes

On the other side of town a boy is waiting
with fiery eyes and dreams no one could steal
She drives on through the night anticipating
'Cause he makes her feel the way she used to feel

She rushes to his arms,
They fall together
She whispers that it’s only for awhile
She swears that soon she’ll be comin’ back forever
She pulls away and leaves him with a smile

You can’t hide your lyin’ eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you’d realize
There ain’t no way to hide you lyin’ eyes

She gets up and pours herself a strong one
And stares out at the stars up in the sky
Another night, it’s gonna be a long one
She draws the shade and hangs her head to cry

She wonders how it ever got this crazy
She thinks about a boy she knew in school
Did she get tired or did she just get lazy?
She’s so far gone she feels just like a fool

My, oh my, you sure know how to arrange things
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain’t it funny how your new life didn’t change things
You’re still the same old girl you used to be

You can’t hide your lyin eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you’d realize
There ain’t no way to hide your lyin’ eyes
There ain’t no way to hide your lyin’ eyes
Honey, you can’t hide your lyin’ eyes

kind regards.

Whispering a piece of song can make me a sin-free man. And make me remember those whom I loved and who loved me. It’s another pleasing thing of life?

kind regards.

Hello Mr Kyaw,

I agree this sentence:“Whispering a piece of song can make me a sin-free man. And make me remember those whom I loved and who loved me. It’s another pleasing thing of life?”

I like daydreaming. And I believe in this part of this song: Edith Piaf sang.

"Non! Rien de rien…
Non! Je ne regrette rien
Ni le bien qu’on m’a fait
Ni le mal, tout ça m’est bien égal!

Non! Rien de rien…
Non! Je ne regrette rien…
C’est payé, balayé, oublié
Je me fous du passé!

Avec mes souvenirs
J’ai allumé le feu… " = so far it’s okay for me.

I could agree with this part but the others are not compatible with my life. I am grateful to the Providence that I am able to see my past in my mind’s eye. It is a good memory and " je ne regrette rien."

Hello Mr.Kyaw,

You never answered this one of my lettrers. Did you misunderstand ? Of course I didn’t want to hurt you. This chanson was and till today is a very good chanson only the text what was very characteristic of our young life ,today already isn’t valid for my life.
The fort-part is valid for ever. I never scourge myself for what I made. For nothing, what happened this happened. But it is a loving chanson. I can’t say I begin everything on zero, and I begin the life “avec toi” = with you - and of course you never thought in this way. That’s why I couldn’t write the text to its end.

This is a stupidity I never want to begin the life from zero,it was enough once, it was beautiful, sometimes very difficult, but its complex entirety I can say I was lucky, my husband, my children, my grandchildren loved me, we managed to survive the deadlocks and we know that we are close its end.

I have to ask you how is possible that who could write so nice letters about everything why finished our relationship. Or you are really a “careless guy” you wrote this about yourself. I don’t believe this.

That’s why I ask you tell me why you stopped writting to me. Not only you the first who stopped writting but you are the first whom I dare ask. I hope you will tell me the truth to my face.

Kind regards.

Kati svaby

Dear Ms. Kati Svaby,

First of all please accept my sincere apology for failing to reply some of your letters. I have nothing to do but I have a lot of things to be done. lol. You know my kind of writing very well?

I’m jobless as I quit job If I feel it stuffy. That’s typical Libra mind. These days, relatives, students, richman chasing me to use my head. And I’m running around. Of course some of them are my creditors. lol

First, you are the one I admire most in this site. I love all your wise and educated topics, and the ‘modesty’ I can see in your writing. You know I always read between the lines? lol.

Secondly, I write most of my topic off hand, sometimes I forget what I’m writing half way. So, I’m always busy with this kind of small small thing .

Thirdly, Burma’s Internet is not like your kind of Internet. Sometimes I think I’d better post my topic by Fedex or DHL. lol.
Oh dear, I complain something and lost my track again.

Ah , have you seen your think astro 2012, it says Liberans are going to be rich, you and me…lol.

All the best for now, my lady,

P.S. I saw the flash of you family photo once, amazingly gracious family, I can tell.
I hope I can amend my omission to you very soon.

kindest regards,
kyaw.

Dear Mr. Kyaw,

The most important for me that there isn’t misunderstanding between us.
I don’t believe in the virtual friendship but I don’t know how I feel a friendship towards you.

Even I like four of our teachers and there is a young-man who is younger one year than my son and he sends me p.m.-s regularly because he couldn’t see his parents for 20 years. He lives in emigration. He dares share with me his problems. He has a wife whom he loves and three cute daughters.

Dear Mr.Kyaw many thanks that you remained my pen friend. I like to read your letters, they are very humorous and written with a very good English.

About the future :In Hungary there will be a great poverty or state bakruptcy. I didn’t know till now what meant a state bankruptcy but I educated myself from English and American leading papers. The poverty will be sure because not only world-crisis but our governement ruined our economy. If we will be lucky and this governement will be chased the bankruptcy remains but we have to avoid the state bankruptcy. State bankruptcy means no pension, no salery bought by the state ( for teachers, doctors, clerks etc.) no supply of electricity, gas, collection of rubbish etc.

So dear Mr. Kyaw my luck will be if we live through this difficulty. And we have to survive our worsening health.

I promis that I will be positive in my next letter but I wrote that you had written to me the Lyberans are going to be rich. I wish you that for you this will be true.

Kind regards:
Kati Svaby

Dear Ms. Kati Svaby,

I’m not very happy to hear about your country economic problem. Burma always is a rich country in resources, but it has always been a poorest country in the world, thanks to so called politicians and specialists. Luckily, I was born rich to our standard. Still, wherever I go I see my poor countrymen and it breaks my heart. So it was one of the fact I don’t want to work for the government or the corporate people who’re in fact exploiting the poor people and making them poorer and poorer. I don’t want to make myself a Culprit in it anymore. It’s sinful in my own definition of religion. And I can feel what is it like being poor myself ( both physically and psychologically ) and keep myself see more enlightenment.

I was to say that I saw a tour excerpt about Hungary recently on TV. Such beautiful Buda, Danube and Pest , It is like a poem. And I also saw they produce finest China wares. As I love nature and art things it was amazing to watch that excerpt. I mean your country has a very long history and high culture and high morale people. I don’t see anything to name substandard in your history and culture. Such a country can overcome whatever adversity they may face and reborn richer again, throughout the history, Germany, Britain, Russia, Japan to name some…
Most of the countries have Depression when they have weak government and bad world economy. But it is a sad things that good people suffer.

Anyway, I will study some facts of world economy these days and find some relief for you, to my best. You know I’ll always be by your side.
Thank you very much that you like my humour. Actually I’m not a humourous type of person but I’m just trying to make people laugh. I only want to see people laugh.

I’m listening to 'long may you run, why don’t you.

kindest regards.
kyaw.

I miss her reassuring smile.

Péter Oszkó: The moment of truth has arrived
Fiscal stability was satisfactory last year. Due to the plundering of the private pensions, the budget could be balanced. Also, we have a successful year behind us in agriculture, so growth could be maintained. Unfortunately for the Orbán government, these two factors will not help them in 2012. President of the EUropean Commission José Manuel Barroso has once again responded to communication by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, expressing a view that the time has come to “be constructive” as concerns the government’s unorthodox policy line on the status of the central bank and Hungary’s finacial stability, EC Spokesperson Joe Hennon said. Hello Mr.Kyaw,

I’ve just received this. I send to you.Read till the end … you’ll laugh.

This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is ‘UP’. It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].

It’s easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?

At a meeting, why does a topic come UP? Why do we speak UP, and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends, brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and fix UP the old car.

At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses.

To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special. If you argue, you can kiss and make UP.

And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is blockedUP.
We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP !

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP, look UP the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions.

If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don’t give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it soaks UP the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I’ll wrap it UP, for now . . . my time is UP!

Oh . . . one more thing: What is the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night?

UP!

Did that one crack you UP?

Don’t screw UP. Send this on to everyone you look UP in your address book . . . or not . . . it’s UP to you.

Now I’ll shut UP!

To my knowledge, your country has been suffering from cancerous corruptions for ages, like Burma, which can only be cured by total revolution. The sacrifice. Costly, but best possible remedy. If you don’t think so, shut me up.

kind regards.
kyaw

Hello Mr. Kyaw,

Cancerous corruption - i like this adjective for our situation.+ a psychotic PM.
The medecine can be a revolution - we also think so.
People, and now the young joined. There are lot of civil organizations, peaceful protestations, they claim the resignation of the government. But this megalomaniac, insane dictator is unable to resigne and he drags the people and the young into a bloody revolution.
I know what is like a revolution from 1956. Than a war. Lot of innocent youngs have to die. I fear …but who can stop Arthuro Ui ??? ( I remember Bertol Brecht’s drama)

Many thanks that you see what only the journalists and the EU and the US politicians and of course lot of Hungarians see. Who care about a small country ? The EU is afraid of the cancer on the periphery of the EU. It can be contagious.

Regards.
Kati Svaby

I said “the sacrifice” in a sense that you are now saying… The Good and the Evil. The Sacrifice and the Winner. They are very natural and universal. All type of politicians love to use ‘the sacrifice’ no matter what the consequences will be. That I hate politics and politicians, they simply can’t build anything without blood and adversity.

kind regards.

Hello Mr. Kyaw,

What a surprise that I came here on this thread and I 've just found your letter to me!
Lately it happened to me that I surfed on the net and I found some letters to me what about I didn’t get notifications.

I didn’t receive any notification about them. This shocked me so much that I wanted to leave this course.

(I wrote to Torsten:
1.“I gave up the effort for the notifications. How many letters I wrote without success?!”
2.“If Torsten doesn’t want to send me notifications, leave me out of this game. I got tired of it. I finished my learning on english-test.net once and for all. I will click the log out but I know it isn’t enough, so please delete my name from the progress report.”)

Next day I got a notification from a thread of Alan, and I logged in again because I wanted to answer it after I logged out again. But it repeat itself several times so few days later I wrote to Torsten that I would like to come back."
He answered:"Hi Kati, you don’t need my permission if you want to use the forum. You are free to use it at any time.

So I returned. But they very rarely send me some notifications either about my personal letters nor the letters what arrive to the thread where I wrote earlier.I got over it. I don’t care about it any more.Perhaps that’s why I began this " My associations."

But I still wrote some words in my last letter to you. I would like to ask you to read it you consider it really good or not. I ask you as an old friend. Tell me the truth. And if you find some blunders I would be very grateful if you sign me.

I wanted already to say twice but I forgot, that this new photo of you is very good!
It is good to see each other how we looked when we were young. Of course you are young still now.

Regards:
Kati

Dear Ms. Kativ Suaby,

Thanks for everything, you are a Venus and I can’t have any negatives with a Venus. Of course, I’d be of assistance to you if I saw any blunders with your writing.

But Beeesneees is the master in that and I admire his/her impeccable British English, as I’m a pro British English.

My photo was taken by Jacky, my British Teacher, who visited our temporary home in Sri Lanka, 1983. So you can see my genuine Venus smile in it? I have had this kind of hearty smiles for only three or four times up to now, 53. So I love this photo myself.

Honestly , we are old now but our ages still cannot be counted in terms of the age of civilizations. So I sing " As long as you follow and Long may you run. My lady.

kind regards.

Dear Mr .Kyaw,

Many thanks for both of letters. Your style very misterious. There are sentences which really let the readers think about it. To write a topic is a great dare to people who enjoy the good literature . I enjoyed. My favorite writer : Albert Camus: The stranger but of course there are even more. But there is the saying that if you went in a desert island which book you would take with you. I am sure that I chose this one.

You are right that there are books which give you different aspects when you read it. Camus could write this miracle with everyday words but not everyday conclusion. You wrote me about the free will. In this novel the idea of FREE WILL is dominant. When somebody is unable to correspond to the petty social conventions what the society demand from you, you will be a stranger than in Camus 'novel and the stranger will be punished with death penalty.
Yes, We have to live with these petty social conventions.
I know to write isn’t a piece of cake. I don’t win laurels with these topics. I hope that after my death my children will find it and then they can read what I couldn’t tell them.
Nothing more.

Regards:
Kati Svaby

Even one.
If you changed this photo please it to me for this thread because you are right with this Venus smile. It is good to look at this happy young man. Many thanks.

Regards:
Kati
