Did you know that if a town in Germany misbehaves badly, they have to put a „Bad“ right before their name on their town signs? Here are some examples:

A spa. That looks like it is barely in Germany. It’s not far from you. Have you been there?
I’ve been in a bad place in Yellowstone before. There is a creek that flows from a hot spring, then enters a river. People have built up a dam to create a pool where it enters the river. You can move closer to or further from the river to find the temperature you like. The creek drops over a small waterfall just before entering the pool. There is a small cave behind the waterfall. You can get in the cave where it’s hot and steamy. It’s not comfortable staying in there too long
To my knowledge there is no legal standing to be “bad” in the US. Any place can call itself a spa or more commonly a hot spring.
