I wasn’t too sure about that, so I did a search - this is what I came up with:
Login = noun
e.g. my login name is …
Log in = verb
Therefore: I logged in to my account.
You can also ‘log on’, ‘log off’, ‘log out’.
So on that basis (b) would be correct.
