Living room and bed room

How do you call different rooms? I mean what are the different rooms in an house?

Also tell me the difference between “Living room” and “Bedroom”.

Thank you…

I love this forum very much.

In the living room (or sitting room) you can watch TV, read or just sit, have guests. You can spend the bigger part of your day in it.
Other rooms are: a bedroom (you sleep there; it may be a child’s private room with a bed, a desk, a bookcase, a computer, toys, etc.), a kitchen (in which you prepare your meals; furnished with kitchen counters and appliances), a dining room (in which you have your meals), a bathroom (where you look after your personal hygiene); there can also be a pantry (to store preserves), a parlour (in which you can receive visitors), a nursery room (for very young children), a study (in which you do paperwork or read, or study).
Maybe there are more types to be added to this list.

Attic - Space above the ceiling of the top floor in the roof of a house - often used for storage.
Bathroom - Sink, bath, shower, toilet.
Box Room - A small room on the same floor as the bedrooms which may be considered a small bedroom or used for storage.
Bedroom - rooms intended for sleeping. A bed is the primary piece of furniture.
Spare room/ Guest room - a bedroom for guests.
Study - A place where people work.
Home Office - An alternative name for a study.
Kitchen - the place where cooking is done.
Living room - the main living area of the house.
Lounge - an alternative name for a living room.
Sitting Room - yet another alternative name for a living room.
Drawing room - a second living area
Parlour - an alternative name for a drawing room.
Dining room - a room with a table and chairs for formal dining.
Kitchen Diner - a combined kitchen and dining area.
Conservatory - a sort of greenhouse, attached to the house, traditionally for plants but nowadays as an extra living area.
Cellar - the room or rooms underneath the house.
Cloakroom - traditionally a small room where people put their coats, but nowadays is more likely to refer to a small room containing only a toilet and sink.
Games Room - a room in large houses where games such as snooker are played.
Ballroom - a room in large stately houses for dancing and entertaining.
Hall - the entrance passage to a house.
Nursery - place where a child sleeps/plays.
Larder - a small room off a kitchen used for the storage of food.
Utility Room - a room where laundry appliances, etc. are kept separate from the kitchen.
Music Room - A room where people play music.
Pantry - A small room used to store kitchen and dining items.
Porch - a covered area outside the front door, sometimes walled and with a second door.

There are probably more, but those are the ones my brain could come up with without stopping to think.
