I heard females have strange appetites when pregnant but i don’t really buy this “Cats love cheese myth”(IMO) I have never seen a Cat eat cheese and I’m 437 years old 
- I couldn’t find a credible source to back it up other than those silly question answer forums.

I feel empathy for you.Unfortunately we lost not one dog.
Our most loved dog died in the same way than your Becky. We had to put him down. My son bought him his favourite food a big beef bone and he happily began to chew it and meantime the vet received to him the mortal injection. In few minutes he was deceased the bone stayed in his mouth. He was cancerous. My husband and my son buried him.
I saw my husband to cry twice. This was the second. The first was an other death.
We never forget him because he left us lot of memory and now we can speak about him affectionately.

I tried to offer a few words of comfort. I hope I succeeded.
