Hi everyone, does the phrase ‘literally aghast’ in the following sentence have a negative or a positive connotation? I mean, was Wilkinson pleasantly surprised/amazed or was he disappointed? Many thanks.
Wilkinson said he was “literally aghast” at her songwriting abilities when first he heard Macdonald play the songs “This Is the Life” and “Mr Rock n Roll”.
