Let the game begins! Is this correct?

Which is correct; Let the game begins or Let the game begin. And am I correct in thinking that this is future tense and not present?
Many Thanks

That is the present imperative. All imperatives are in the present tense. “Let the game (or games) begin” is correct.

She sings. (Indicative)

But

Let her sing.

And

Sarah, sing. (Since I am talking to Sarah, her name is replacing “you.”)

Thank you so much.

Still wondering. Since I want to refer to the World Cup, is it more correct to say Let the games begin or Let the game begin? Is World Cup event seen as “a lot of games” or “the game” I hope I am making some sense here…

“Games” is the appropriate option for you.

If you watched Eurovision Song Contest, you could hear linkman saying “Let’s the show begin” or “Let’s the voting begin”.
