Hi, please could you explain the meaning of the word ‘Leitertour’ in the following extract?
Die Arbeit mit Apps bietet bisweilen recht handfeste Herausforderungen. Die insgesamt 250 Beacons mussten zur Sicherstellung einer optimalen Sendeleistung durchgängig in mindestens drei Meter Höhe installiert werden (the beacons should have been installed into the wall), was eine zweitägige »Leitertour« durchs Haus erforderte.

It means that ladders had to be moved around the building in order for the technicians to climb up and install the beacons at an altitude of 3 meters.
