LEAVING.

I’ve taken down your pictures,
I don’t need them anymore.
I’ve taken all your sketches,
And placed them by the door.
I’m erasing all the memories,
Of the good times we once had.
Now I’m trying to act happy,
While deep inside I’m oh so sad.

I used to think we’d made it,
I’d found my place at last.
Looked forward to the future,
And just forgot the past.
But the past won’t really let me,
So now I’ll have to go.
And leave you standing crying,
'Twas all my fault, I know.

Maybe you’ll forget me,
And find another love.
Someone who’ll love and treat you,
And never ever rove.
I wish you health and happiness,
The things I thought we had.
Yes, outwardly I’m smiling,
But inside I feel so bad.

Kitos.

You have a great sense of poesy Bill, my favourite part is:

Looked forward to the future,
And just forgot the past.
But the past won’t really let me,
So now I’ll have to go.

Very very good love poem,

Thank you for these moments … you took me back to my first dreams.

Greetings

Good morning Jam, ever courteous, forever kind.

Bill.

Keep it simple. Keep it interesting.
