learn or study: is the sentence correct?

She’s always disturbing me when I want to learn.

‘Learn’ has a broader meaning than ‘study’. You can learn a language in the sense of acquiring knowledge on how to speak and write it. You can study a language also with the intention of acquiring knowledge about it but when you study it, you do so in greater detail and devote more time to it as a student, in your sentence I would say: when I want to study…
