Can you think of things to say on learning English, from these two well known lines, learnt by tiny tots?
“Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water…”

Mary and Bill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
But the weather so hot
Made them, just for a start,
Throw away what was on them.
Then it happens, you see
When you lie under a tree
With a bucket without any water,
You may come to conclusion
That it was just an illusion
To seek water uphill, my brother
But it’s easier, be warned
To lie there with your front
Just stark naked, like it was created
And let Merry go down
Maybe not a hill but … somehow
She may try to climb something other.

But it’s just a stupid ditty written on the spur of the moment. (full of mistakes btw)
