Hello everybody,

How are things with you this Saturday? Are you following the Olympic Games in Athens — either on TV or maybe even live? It’s probably a good idea to combine your English language training activities with the sports events in Greece. This way you could kill two birds with one stone. (By the way, this idiom has a German as well as a Russian equivalent with the difference that they Russians «kill» rabbits and the Germans flies.)

The Russians don’t kill anyone! We are very peaceful people. Maybe we kill a bear now and then but that’s only when we are very hungry.
