I've had a charming letter vs I've had a delicious letter

Hi,

I’ve had a charming letter from my old mate Brenda. Right. Could I also say “I’ve had a delicious letter from my old mate Brenda”?

Thanks once again. Cheerio

“delicious” is possible, but it is quite an unusual word to use to describe a letter. It is not a direct replacement for “charming”, and has a variety of other connotations.

Alright, Dozy. Thanks.
