It's Complicated

Hello,
I have a few very small questions:

  1. Is the sentence “It’s Complicated” the same as “It is Complicated” or “It has Complicated”?

  2. Can we say “It is getting complicated”?

  3. I’m confused with the word “born”. I want to say “It’s not fair. Everyone should have options for his/her appearances before he/she gets born!” or “I wish I got born again”. Are they correct?

  4. Between “cliché” and “cliche” and also between “entrée” and “entree” which ones are accepted in English exams?

  5. What’s wrong with these words?! I couldn’t find them in Oxford and Longman dictionaries but are defined in some online dictionaries.
arborescent, auroral, behoove, antipathize, apophthegm, acquittance

Thank you.

  1. “It’s complicated” = “It is complicated”

  2. Can we say “It is getting complicated”?- Yes

  3. I’m confused with the word “born”. I want to say “It’s not fair. Everyone should have options for his/her appearances before he/she gets born!” or “I wish I got born again”. Are they correct?-- No, ‘get born’ is odd. Use ‘is born’.

  4. Between “cliché” and “cliche” and also between “entrée” and “entree” which ones are accepted in English exams?- All of them, but it would be wise to learn the diacritical marks.

  5. What’s wrong with these words?! I couldn’t find them in Oxford and Longman dictionaries but are defined in some online dictionaries: arborescent, auroral, behoove, antipathize, apophthegm, acquittance-- There is nothing wrong with them. They are alternative spellings or unusual or little used words, and may not be found in learners’ dictionaries.

Mister Micawber,
I wish I got born in the US. (wrong)
I wish I was born in the US. (OK)
I have wrote above with comments in bracket.
Is it OK?

Yes, your comments are accurate. We would more carefully say ‘I wish I had been born in the US.’

Thank you so much.
It was very helpful.
