'it is belonged' vs. 'it belongs to'?

Hi, I’ve just come across the following sentence: Lianyungang Zhongfu Lianzhong Composites Group Co., Ltd. is belonged to China Composites Group Co. which is the sub company of CNBM.

Now, ‘it is belonged to’ sounds very strange, doesn’t it?

Thanks,

I don’t think that belong, as an intransitive verb, can appear in passive form at all, Torsten. In any case, this would be correct:

Lianyungang Zhongfu Lianzhong Composites Group Co, Ltd belongs to China Composites Group Co, which is a subsidiary of CNBM.
