Is this sentence "I had emailed you the file." correct?

i would like to know is this sentence is correct in grammar or not

“I had emailed you the file.”

Grammatically, there is nothing wrong with your sentence, but the broader context would have to justify the use of the past perfect.

Perhaps you could add these words: I thought I had emailed you the file last week.

Possibles:

I had emailed you the file, so it was too late to then change it.
I had emailed you the file without the cover page. I sent the complete document later.
