Is the bold part correct?

It is important to deliver the message as “Would you like to practise this religion?” or ”You will be happy with this practice” and not engage in a debate. We should not make it sound like a confrontation too.

Is the bold part correct?

Thanks.

Yes, I would say it’s correct.

Yes, though I would make two changes to the rest of the text.

I would either make this “not to engage” since it logically follows “It is important”, or make it a separate sentence - "Do not engage in debate.”

I would also remove the “too” at the end of the text.
