Is "on foot" redundant?

In fact, in a YouTube uploaded on July 1, these Americans vloggers challenged themselves by walking from Woodlands to Marina Bay Sands on foot.

Is “on foot” redundant?

Thanks.

It’s kind of redundant, but it gives emphasis and helps the reader visualize it.

Walking can ONLY be with feet. So, it is redundant.

A better version would be any one of the following:

  1. In fact, in a YouTube uploaded on July 1, these American vloggers challenged themselves by walking from Woodlands to Marina Bay Sands.

  2. In fact, in a YouTube uploaded on July 1, these American vloggers challenged themselves by going from Woodlands to Marina Bay Sands on foot.

  3. In fact, in a YouTube uploaded on July 1, these American vloggers challenged themselves by travelling from Woodlands to Marina Bay Sands on foot.
