Is it necessary to say 'where' after 'somewhere'?

Hi everyone,

Is it necessary to say ‘where’ after ‘somewhere’, I mean in Dutch we usually do, but in English it seems extremely wrong.

Examples: - I want to speak to you somewhere people can see us, rather than - I want to speak to you somewhere where people can see us. - I want to go somewhere nobody knows me.

Thanks
Alexandro

The ‘where’ is usually necessary.
