As with any other technology or tool it all comes down to how exactly you use it and to what end. You make a fire to prepare food and light your home or you can use it to burn down peaceful villages. You can use the wheel to transport goods or you can use it to torture people who don’t agree with you.
The same goes for a search engine like Google.
