Culturally and religiously, we are the same. We practice almost the same major religion.(Buddhism, Hiduism, Christianity and Muslims). We have the same major races (Chinese, Indian, Malay). Although the percentage differs a lot, but the way of life is more of less the same.

Is “but” redundant because of “Although”?
