interim become explain

We have in the interim become perhaps a bit more sophisticated as to how we pose them,
and we have in the interimlearned a good bit about what kinds of iterations or what kinds of answers to their problems carry what types of
extra problems with them.

I m reading a book related to German philosophy.i found the word pharse interim become in the above sentence. Can u tell me what is the meaning of interim become

I would set off ‘in the interim’ and look closer at ‘interim’ meaning ‘the intervening time \ meantime. As in: School doesn’t start till September, but he’s taking a Spanish class in the interim. OR: In the interim I’ll just keep my fingers crossed.
Then we could put it, “In the interim we have become more sophisticated…”

But using mean time i couldn’t get a meaning of whole sentence.can explain it to me

You have to get used to the wording they use in the philosophical works. Sometimes it’s not easy to catch an idea as you have to translate their specific language into ‘normal’ one.

Putting it plain, In the interval between one occurrence and another [not specified there] we’ve possibly become more sophisticated [= learned to better] raise them [= questions], and we’ve also learned quite a lot about what kinds of repeated steps or answers to their problems could create extra problems.

What kinds of iterations\repeated steps and which answers to which questions were meant should become clear from the broader context.

Are you still keen on German philosophy?..

Nonetheless, the questions those “German” philosophers asked themselves during this period remain our own questions. We have in the interim become perhaps a bit more sophisticated as to how we pose them,
and we have in the interim learned a good bit about what kinds of iterations or what kinds of answers to their problems carry what types of
extra problems with them. Their questions, though, remain our questions, and thus “German” philosophy remains an essential part o fmodern
philosophy. What, then, was the relation of “German” philosophy to
“Germany”?

this was the whole paragraph, this is a elementary book for German philosophy.it would be kind enough if u can give explanation about this paragraph

We have / in the period since then / become more sophisticated
We have / in the interim / become more sophisticated

So the whole sentence:
In the period after this (where ‘this’ is a point already referred to in the text) become cleverer at asking questions in a particular way, and in the same period we have learned a lot about what the answers we get tell us (what hidden messages may lie in the answers).

You invite me to study German philosophy with\instead of you?
Why it’s “German”, not German you can’t tell from that short passage. What I learned from that is that the questions they asked themselves remain our own questions. Which ones?..
Did you try to learn more about it in your native language? I recommend you do just that.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately i am living in a country where philosophy is not much popular.Even i find a book related to philosophy the interpretation cannot be trusted.
As i told u earlier this book is elementary book. All i need is to simplify some sentence or paragraph which are harder to understand.I highly appreciated your help until i come to some level

If that short excerpt from “an elementary book on German philosophy” was all that you had to deal with, then, in all honesty, I can’t see how Bev or I, or anybody else could do more than we did to further explain it.

1—Why those “German” philosophers are set off with quotation marks is unclear. It should’ve been made obvious from the previous context (which is missing.)
2—“The questions those philosophers asked themselves during this period” [which questions and during which period?]—no information.
3—“ We have in the interim” [starting at which point?] —no information.
Once again, too little information to explain it further.
Regards

Sorry for the mistakes.Through your answers i was able to get the idea.Next time i will
ask the question properly.Thank you Very Much
