Hello everybody, hi Kitos
Both the reading passage the listening passage is about graffiti artists. While the reading passage supports graffiti artists, the listening passage disagrees with this kind of art.
The reading passage wonders why graffiti artists are opposed and criticized by people although they express themselves through their arts. However, the listening passage advocates the opposition and goes on to say that they are not artists because they break laws and they destroy private and public places by putting their nicknames in the wall and so on.
The reading passage compares graffiti artists to the artists Christo and goes on to say that both of them have the same desire that motivate them to transfer any scene to art. However, the listening passage disagrees with this comparison and says that it is not fair and reasonable to compare the creative artist Christo with graffiti artist because Christo is always careful to get a permission from government which takes long time and sometimes he do not have it, and not only that he always take down his painting after some weeks, while graffiti artists do not ask for permission and they do not usually clean their staff.
The reading passage suggests to encourage graffiti artists and to hire the best of them to train the young artists. While the listening passage disagrees with encouraging graffiti artists and instead, it suggests stopping graffiti artists and making punishments for them, the listening passage admits although there are some graffiti artists who are creative, it suggests to encourage them to do another kind of art.
