QUESTION:The professor gives the example of the effects of elephant on theAfrician grass land habitat.Using this example, explain why elephants are considered a key stone species.

living in the African grassland habited -> habitat

destroy the ?gotow? forest

if the grass is ?bite? the animals depending on the grass

I think you did a good job with this one. This is probably your best job of speaking I have heard, with only these few unclear words. I am not sure you tied your examples back to the keystone species definition clearly enough though. The main point is that by keeping the land a grassland instead of allowing it to turn into a forest, elephants provide a grassy habitat for many other species besides themselves. If the elephants disappeared, many other species would also be affected, making the elephants the keystone species. With so much information in the lecture, you really have to focus on the main points and avoid getting bogged down in the details.
