Informal words - Help me

Metathise,spring formal, undroos, sawsall, cooloffs.

thanks in advance,…

Well, I was born and raised in the US, and I honestly don’t have a clue what some of those mean. These do make sense (at least to me):

spring formal: A formal dance at a high school or college that takes place in the spring. Here, formal means the boys and girls dress up in nice clothes.

Underoos: A brand of kids’ underwear that usually has playful themes like Superman, Spiderman, etc.

You’re on your own for the rest!

.
Do you mean (the quite formal)–

Metathesize: to subject to or undergo metathesis (the transposition within a word of letters, sounds, or syllables, as in the change from Old English brid to modern English bird or in the confusion of modren for modern.
.
